Tu B’Shevat Seder
Come celebrate one of Rabbi Kobey’s favorite holidays! Tu B’Shevat is the birthday of the trees and we celebrate by having a seder with various fruits. We can travel (in our minds) to Israel where we will really see the first signs of spring with the almond tree blossoms. We spiritually journey from winter to spring with this ritual and eat a wide variety of fruit.
The seder is great fun and I hope you will join in this wonderful holiday! This year it will be Tuesday, January 30, beginning at 7:00pm. All Tuesday Religious School students will participate, but we hope that their families and other congregants will RSVP for additional members. This is a congregational event (not just for TuesdayReligious School), so we hope that all of our members RSVP and join in this great celebration! Please please please help us by RSVPing no later than January 18 to Bita Silverman, our Temple Admin at (301) 482-1025 or email@example.com.
