Congregation Or Chadash strives to meet the spiritual, educational and social needs of our members within a Reform Jewish context. We are dedicated to providing the best religious programming in a welcoming atmosphere. We invite you to become active members of our Jewish community.

We’ve been vibrant and growing for over 25 years. Our congregation is diverse and includes families with children of all ages, singles, empty-nesters, and seniors. Interfaith families are welcome and actively participate in congregational life.

Our synagogue is situated on 17 wooded acres at the corner of Stringtown and Kings Valley Roads, near the Clarksburg/Damascus border. If you are new to the area, participating is a great way to make friends and meet neighbors. If you are longtime area residents, you’ll find Congregation Or Chadash to be a wonderful place to experience and learn more about Judaism. Whatever your situation, Congregation Or Chadash can add a fulflling dimension to your life.

Membership

New members enjoy their first year in our Choose Your Dues program. This allows you to try us out for a year and pay any amount that you like. After the first year, our dues structure is based on a Fair Share plan where members pay an amount based on their income. We do not turn anyone for inability to pay. We are happy to work out a plan with you.
