Join us for a variety of casual social gatherings. Get time to chat with the people who you pass in the hallway at religious school pick up or sit next to at services. Check the calendar for our craft nights, dining out, and mahjong (beginners welcome).
Adult Social Group
The COC Adult Social Group holds activities, sometimes once a month, of a varied nature, such as dinner out at a restaurant, a theater trip, or a potluck Chanukah party at the home of a congregant (or congregant family). Events are generally free or low-cost, and are announced in the bimonthly Focus newsletter and in the weekly Happenings email blast.
Brotherhood
The COC Brotherhood gives opportunities for men in the congregation to get together socially and for various one-time projects. One regularly occurring feature is Guys Night Out, which takes place every Thursday evening at 6:30PM at a restaurant located somewhere in the Rockville-to-Damascus area. Interested congregants can get on the list by contacting the co-chairs. Details of Guys Night Out are announced in advance in the Happenings email blast.
