Congregation Or Chadash founded in September 1984, now serves approximately 125 households and is a member of the Union of Reform Judaism. Our beautiful temple is located at the Clarksburg/Damascus border, just minutes from I-270. Our congregation is a wonderful mix of singles, families, retirees, interfaith families, LGBTQ+, and people of different ethnic backgrounds coming from Frederick County, Montgomery County, Carroll County, and Howard County as well as Washington DC and more. We are a diverse and cohesive family with a nationally accredited religious school.
