Membership
New members enjoy their first year in our Choose Your Dues program. This allows you to try us out for a year and pay any amount that you like. After the first year, our dues structure is based on a Fair Share plan where members pay an amount based on their income. We do not turn anyone for inability to pay. We are happy to work out a plan with you.
As a member of Congregation, you will be part of a supportive family, a connected group of friends, and a warm, welcoming and vibrant Jewish community. Your Congregation Or Chadash membership also includes:
- Shabbat services each Friday night and some Saturday morning, and a full range of holiday services and celebrations
- High Holy Day services for those in your household
- Our Rabbi officiates at life-cycle events and is readily available for pastoral counseling and care
- Regular offerings of adult classes, groups and cultural programs
- Educational and youth programming for children (religious school has an additional fee)
- Participation in our many adult social groups
- Subscription to the temple Bulletin
- Opportunities for involvement in tikkun olam (social action and social justice work to help repair our world)
