Adult Social Club
The purpose of the Congregational Adult Social Club is to bring together the Adults (Age 21 and older) who belong to Or Chadash in a social environment that includes our Jewish heritage as a unifying factor. Every event usually has a food aspect to it so when it is at a family member’s house or at the Congregation we follow the Temple’s rules for the Kashruth. Other events center around Jewish holidays such as the Annual Chanukah party or have a theme such as we are planning an overnight trip to the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia.
These events are open to all adult members of Congregation Or Chadash and to prospective members. The age is set at 21 due to the serving of alcohol and we have included such a wide age range due to the size of our membership. We just do not have enough families to create clubs for the variety of ages. Please check out our activities and email me with any questions as we will be scheduling about 6 to 8 events a year.
